Kelly Rooney - Program Coordinator - New Berlin - Calhoun

Kelly Rooney accepted the position of Program Coordinator for the New Berlin-Calhoun site in May of 2009.  Kelly started with Paragon in 2006 as a Program Instructor, and was subsequently promoted to the Team Lead position at the Burlington site. Kelly had worked with both children and elderly people who presented challenging behaviors. She then came to Paragon and discovered her true niche-- working with participants in the social program. She enjoys event planning and brings a fair and unique approach to her leadership style.

Kelly gives each participant the opportunity to interact in various activities in the community on a daily basis. She really enjoys her interaction with each participant and assisting them in achieving their goals. She takes pride in seeing an individual reach the next level toward independence.

Kelly’s passions are art and fashion design, which she studied in college. Her art has been on display at the Milwaukee Public Museum and she has won awards from The Milwaukee Magazine.

In her free time, Kelly enjoys creating stained glass artwork, cooking, baking, spending time with friends and walking her dog “Reggie.”
